How to transform groups

Any group Morph recognizes as one object, so the transformation of the group and objects separately will be different.

If on one slide the objects are in the group, but on the other not, there is no transformation happening.

Transformation of an individual object from the group does not work.

  • Example 1

    Step 1

If you place two circles on one slide and swap them on the other, the circles will not move through Morph, they will just change their parameters.

It is necessary to make these objects different so that the transformation takes place — for example, one of them is placed in a group.

    Step 2

Create a shape without fills and strokes, group this shape with one of the circles, and then you can swap the objects.

  • Example 2

    Step 1

Transformation without the use of grouping can go wrong in which circle should turn into what.

    Step 2

It is necessary to make the objects different so that the transformation takes place — group icons with circles.

    Step 3

Then it’s enough to repeat everything as on the storyboard.

  • Example 3

    Step 1

Create a circle whose arc corresponds to the necessary trajectory, and place the plane on the border of this circle. Since we do not need a circle, we remove its fill and stroke. Group a transparent circle and plane.

    Step 2

In order for the object to move along the arc, on each slide we need to rotate our group with a transparent circle and plane to the desired angle. Add a visible circle to the slide with the fill.

    Step 3

Together with the rotation of the group – we reduce the scale of the visible circle.

    Step 4

Rotate the group again, while reducing its scale, and reduce the size of the visible circle.
